WELDON RAMBLER

Phoenix, Arizona

Reimagining a suburban mid-century ranch nestled within the Valley's fast-growing core.

The existing masonry structure, with its well-maintained Flemish brickwork, was stripped of its deteriorating additions to reveal the original form. Working closely with the owners, a young family with a keen interest in design and development, the house was reshaped to provide a more open, connected layout. Private spaces were streamlined, while public areas now flow seamlessly toward the new master suite and refreshed outdoor spaces anchored by the existing pool. A new casita, added later in the design process to take advantage of the city's new ADU-friendly zoning laws, offers a private retreat for visiting family and friends.

Clean lines, contemporary finishes, and a restrained palette tie old and new together, shaping a home ready for its next chapter.
