POINT ROBINSON

Vashon Island, Washington

Situated behind a dense line of trees along a historic lighthouse access road, this five-acre property's expansion and ecological restoration reimagined the former apple orchard as a rural retreat for the client’s family, doubling as a short-term rental destination.

Working closely with the landscape architects and local builders, the site was reconfigured to establish a clear entry sequence, guiding visitors toward the existing farmhouse and new guest huts with framed views of the historic barn. Renewed outdoor gathering spaces, set along the expansive meadow, provide opportunities for both community and solitude within the landscape.
